Project CLAUDE.md was written before docs/ARCHITECTURE.md, README.md, and lexicons/README.md existed. Most of the encryption model, lexicon schemas, file structure, and roadmap are now duplicated. Keep only: project identity, what the PDS is and why atproto, key design decisions that aren't obvious from code, and pointers to the real docs.
